Insights from SEMA Show 2022
Mira Commerce, a proud new member of Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), had an extraordinary week exhibiting at SEMA Show 2022. With over 120,000 attendees, the SEMA Show was the perfect opportunity for industry experts, business owners, and car enthusiasts to gather in person for the hottest car show of the year.
Despite economic challenges and pandemic disruptions, 2021 was a record year for many businesses, and this holds true as 2022 continues to wind up. As mentioned in the 2022 SEMA Market Report, a whopping 51% of sales in the automotive vertical in 2021 were made online. The unwavering success in the automotive industry over the last two years is attributed to an industry-leading partner ecosystem and innovation solutions created together.
On display loud-and-proud at SEMA 2022 the unique Augmented Reality solution developed by the Mira Commerce and Griot’s Garage teams was unveiled. This new AR-enabled mobile shopping application is a plug-and-play solution that integrates with existing ecommerce platforms to enhance user experience on merchant’s websites. The custom app allows customers to scan physical products, product labels, boxes or catalogs to add items to cart, get product recommendations, highlight unique features, suggest add-ons, and more.
We were honored to participate in this year’s SEMA show. It was wonderful to sync up with so many of our partners, and to showcase some of the projects the team has been working on together. Powerful partnerships, like ours with Griot’s Garage, BigCommerce, and Cheaper Than Dirt, help perpetuate omnichannel growth in the ecommerce industry. The solutions we create together are truly moving commerce forward.
