The Content Development Media Lead will work with the Marketing Manager and design team to develop concepts, visual assets, and competitive content (case studies, success stories, white papers), and align that with trends/strategies for specific channels. They must be an organically creative person; inspired by telling stories and connecting with people; excited by new tools, platforms, and capabilities within the digital and social media spaces. They must feel comfortable working across departments and side-by-side with business unit leaders to find the best stories and content. This role is part creative and part journalistic – always in search of the next story to tell and a creative eye to tell it.


  • Strategically plan with the Marketing Manager and execute content initiatives for the global branches of Mira Commerce
  • Conceptualize and deliver content strategies for multiple audiences, leveraging various platforms and upholding brand values, narrative, and authenticity
  • Research eCommerce industry-related topics
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to define their content needs and ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style
  • Create competitive content starting with the discovery of information from SMEs, create success story/narrative/case studies/white papers to match value-selling approach, select the best form factor, and drive the project through design, approvals, and publication.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure voice, grammar and style are on point and error-free
  • Content management: website, email communications, newsletters
  • Maintain and grow our social media; monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
  • Takes advantage of all video and photography production techniques to make each channel as creative as possible; interacts with creative agencies to produce video content, infographics etc
  • Perform other marketing-related duties as requested by the Marketing Manager
  • Organize media assets and graphic library in Google Drive and Confluence marketing space

Education, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related program required
  • Experience using tools to amplify, enhance, and/or evolve a strategic social media campaign and deliverables
  • Knowledge of emerging platforms and tools of content creation, as well as trends in social media, content marketing, and media
  • Strong writing skills to assist in storytelling through blogs and social post copy (e.g., blog posts, feature articles, profiles, white papers, etc.). Writing samples will be requested
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with an ability to make creative decisions
  • Skilled and experience in software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Experience managing social channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter
  • Knowledgeable in social media aggregator programs
  • Ability to design and edit concepts and creations
  • Ability to run successful social media campaigns
  • Ability to adapt well to changes in direction and priority

As a plus:

  • Writing for tech and/or B2B audiences
  • Experience with video production and photography
