Mira Commerce is a private California-based digital commerce agency servicing enterprise-level retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and brands since 2004. We specialize in e-commerce technology and innovation, working with leading technology vendors including KIBO, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), Netsuite, commercetools, and others. Among our clients are Johnson & Johnson, Visa, Mars / M&M’s, Mizuno, and numerous other global and regional leaders in their respective industry verticals.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to bring talent and passion for technologies to our eCommerce development team. As we are growing across our services that include digital platforms implementation, custom apps development, and systems integration, we have the position open in Argentina and Ukraine. Shopify Engineer is primarily responsible for producing quality, on-budget, and on-schedule solutions on projects.

Responsibilities and duties include:
– Creatively solve complex problems;
– Extensive development on the Shopify+ platform;
– Develop custom extensions to be released as third-party add-ons;
– Contribute to internal initiatives such as improving our development processes;
– Own and manage the development process, client environments, and systems and data aspects of the project;
– Support project management during dependency and release planning;
– Coach engineers in technical approach;
– Communicate regularly with project managers, e-commerce analysts, engineers, and clients regarding requirements, approach, and project updates;


– 5+ years of experience in software development;

– 3 years of experience with Shopify/Shopify+ integrations;
– Mastery of all things Shopify, including app installation and configuration, adding custom functionality, server configuration, and custom app integration construction;
– Understanding of application languages (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript);
– Exposure to hosting solutions like AWS and Heroku;
– Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript libraries (NodeJs, Grunt, Bower, Webpack, CommonJS, RequireJS, PrototypeJS, jQuery, Gulp);
– Basic understanding of LESS and SASS;
– Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git;
– Likes mentoring, coaching, and training others;
– Excellent written and oral communication skills with team members and clients
